It Was Truly My Honor......

It was truly my honor to take photos of the B family last weekend. W called me about a week before really wanting family photos before her son departed overseas. Her is about to depart for his second tour in Iraq in 2 weeks...so, I was really happy to capture some moments with the entire family before he left.

I think it is an amazing thing to serve our country....and I am truly grateful for all of those do it. All I could do last Sat. was thank him for his service...and hurry to edit the photos so he can take some with him when he is so far from his family in 2 more weeks:)

We had a very, VERY windy and day during our shoot, but that did not stop us....we made the most of it. The B family all were troopers in the wind and cold!

Thank you very much to the B family for asking me to take your family photos during this special time. As the title of this blog post says, "It Was Truly My Honor."

I especially like the first photo below. I think it signifies embarking on a journey and could not be more appropriate for this time....

Cousins Galore!!!

Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of shooting these adorable cousins! They are all so close in age and were just too cute! Little A and Little E are only a day apart...how fun!!! And Baby B, well, he was a pure "natural" in front of the camera!!! All 3 babies did so well for their photo shoot!

Here are some of my favorites from the session....

2 Adorable BROTHERS!!!

The adorable "G" brothers were so much fun to shoot! They were active, playful, and quite frankly, just as FUN as little boys can be:) You can tell they are best of friends....and with their gorgeous blue eyes, you know they will both be heart breakers one day!

Nice to seeing you again, Suzie! Your boys are DARLING! They reminded me of what my life will soon be in only 7 more months:) Here are just some of my favorites from the shoot....lots more on the cd!

Amazing Blue Eyed Beauty

Last Saturday, I had the opportunity to take photos of beautiful little Dakota! She was such a sweet little girl...and quite the fashionista!!! I loved her black and white bows that her Mommy made for her as well as her darling pink striped room! Dakota was so well behaved and simply adorable!

It feels good to be back in the saddle again editing pics! I have the opportunity to work with so many wonderful families!

Here are some of my favorites of little Dakota.....
